New Work

November 24, 2013 § 1 Comment

should chalk up like a true mineral and pass through my bladder.

I’ve got more in me. I love teaching. I love living and walking and being in this cold and toothy city. Thematically, I’ve been patiently churning images of deep sea creatures, feeding sea snakes, gingko leaves, snapshots of the heaviness of a particularly drunk hug, dirt versus soil, and fugue salads.

I think I am on the right track. It has been a couple of years since I pulled a thread and wound up setting my feet onto the scarred wooden floor of my kitchen. Every day I wake up and I get my cup and I spit the slough and dress my knees for the weather. Most days I get asked 300 questions.

What I’m saying is that one day soon I’m going to have more room and I’m going to fill it with voice, lines, broken statements that refer to you, your life, your tits, my life, our life, our particular branch, our connection.

See you soon.
